It Has Been A Rough Year For the Giants

The San Francisco Giants have not had much fun this year so far as they are 26-40 as of this writing, 
which is one of the worst marks in the league. 
They have gone just 4-10 in their last 14 games (prior to Wednesday) 
and they haven’t won back-to-back games since the End of May. 
The Giants have really had their issues on offense this year 
and it has never been more evident than in their recent stretch as they have averaged just 2.2 rpg 
in their last 10 losses while putting up 9.75 rpg in their last four wins. 

The Rockies have not been as good at home as they have been on the road 
and this is their first game back off a seven-game road trip, which gives the Giants an edge, 
That is the only edge they have, though. Jeff Hoffman is 4-0 with a 2.33 ERA on the year overall 
and while he did struggle some in his lone home start, the Rockies still won the game. 
The Giants will be sending out Matt Moore, who is 0-4 with a 7.94 ERA on the road for the year 
and he has a 12.34 ERA in three career starts in this park. 
The Giants have averaged just 3.91 rpg on the road, while the Rockies have put up 5.70 rpg at home.
